Workflow
Ella turns a patient conversation into a structured clinical output that doctors can review before or during care. The workflow is designed around one clean chain: access, clinic selection, full clerking, then document review, with over 95% transcription accuracy, an average 20-minute consultation, and voice costs of only 5 pence per minute.

01
Patient entry
Patients can reach Ella from wherever they are: by phone or through the website. The experience begins before the appointment, so the history is captured while the patient has time to explain what happened.
The goal is simple access from anywhere: no long forms, no repeated front-desk handoff, and no waiting for the consultation to begin before the baseline story is collected.
02
Surgery routing
On the website, the patient chooses the correct surgery or clinic, then starts the conversation with Ella. That selected location travels with the call so the generated output belongs to the right clinical team.
The workflow stays under our control end to end: choose the clinic first, open the voice room for that location, then route the output to the correct review area.
03
Clinical clerking
Ella talks to the patient naturally, asks focused follow-up questions, and builds the clinical history one point at a time using high-end, advanced AI models.
The transcript is captured during the conversation with over 95% transcription accuracy, then used to produce a cleaner, structured clinical record.
04
Doctor review
After the conversation, Ella automatically generates the output. A doctor or manager can log on, open the file area, and see every patient who has spoken to Ella along with the generated documents.
The doctor stays in control: Ella prepares the information, and the clinical team reviews it before using it in care.
Clinical control
Ella uses advanced AI to capture and structure the history, but the doctor reviews the generated documents and remains in control of clinical decisions. The architecture is controlled end to end, with privacy and healthcare data-protection requirements built into the way the workflow is routed.
